Dear Representative:
2006
Kicking Ass and Taking Names for Fun and Games
In an open platform 3 letters to a congressman (or was it a woman – you decide), citizens complained of the ongoing problem of police brutality.
It was cited very succinctly:
“Police Brutality is the violation of the most fundamental and absolutely prerequisite human rights that are necessary for any democracy.
Without an ardently supported list of human rights (like the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights), a simple majority could vote away the rights of Indians, Jews, African Americans, Gypsies, and you.
I’ve seen the state violate ALL constitutional rights out of an idiotic obsession/compulsion to make their police and themselves right when they are wrong.
922 and the new seat belt law will increase police brutality and the likelihood that I will move my family –here since 1630 – to Australia, Canada, England or one of the Scandinavian countries (I will outsource government)”
Now this is the exception more than the rule, but of course I am a middle aged white male which brings a strong bias to my opinions. It seems like a lot off folks out there are getting some sound ass whippings out there from there local police, and are sick to death of it. As cited above from these letters to congressmen/women, some are ready to move and “outsource government”. A very innovative approach I might add. If you don’t like the system in place, then change it the right way – from inside. That is what our political process is set up for. Some would not agree, they want everything NOW, because they’re angry and not thinking clearly.
I have seen Presidents, Congressmen/women, Generals, Senators, Sheriffs and Police Chiefs come and go. Some with joy in my heart and others reluctantly, but they DID GO! How did that happen? In the ballot box bozo! I say – read the letters at the linked page I’ve provided, think about it, and get off your arse and do something about it or stop your whining and “outsource your government”, you will not be missed!
