Violence Against Women Act 

I found this information while “snooping” through publicly accessible government web pages. I think it is an important step in ensuring a safer “today” for women. Because of such legislation, while crime rates are still intolerable they have been steadily and visibly decreasing if you look at the numbers and graphs for subsequent years.
