Recent Campus Shooting Stirs Anti-Gun Crowd!

In the wake of the recent University shootings, the Gun Control gang has crawled out from under their rocks again. They are mounting more and newer legislation to prevent the citizens of the USA from exercising “the right to bear arms” again! Meanwhile, former Miss America 1944 fired a handgun to shoot out a vehicle’s tires and stop a burglar. Venus Ramey, 82, confronted a man on her farm in south-central Kentucky last week after she saw her dog run into a storage building where thieves had previously made off with old farm equipment.

Ramey said the man told her he would leave. She told him “no you won’t” and proceeded to shoot their tires out and anchored the vehicle on the spot. Ms. Ramey balanced on her walker, pulled out a .38-caliber handgun and commenced to firing away. “I didn’t even think twice. I just went and did it,” she said. “If they’d even dared come close to me, they’d be 6 feet under by now.” She then hailed a passing motorist, who called 911.

Curtis Parrish of Ohio was charged with misdemeanor trespassing according to local authorities. Ms. Ramey lived in Cincinnati OH for several years and eventually returned to Kentucky to live on her farm in 1990. “I’m trying to live a quiet, peaceful life and stay out of trouble, and all it is, is one thing after another,” she said. That’s right Venus, the more things change, the more they seem to stay the same – crime is still with us in spades and they want that snubby confiscated!

Before long they (anti-everything advocates) will want your ball bat inside the door, or your new telescopic stun baton that you purchased for scaring off feral dogs when threatened, while walking your dog in neighborhoods with resident neighbors who don’t give a damn if there precious little Pit Bull “MAX” consumes you, your children, or your pets! What’s the USA coming to? Wake up you armchair pro-gun advocates, and write to your elected officials (Congressmen and Senators – ya know?). Let them know that you want gun control legislation vetoed, dropped, repealed!
